Slices of my mind

Blogging is such an interesting process when you think about it. You write a post about a topic that is hot on your brain and post it for the world to see. Now here is the interesting part. Those of us who read a post are only getting a slice of the authors mind at a time. i usually post 300-800 word posts. You really can't be exhaustive on what you think in that brief a space.

As a reader it takes time to get to know those who you are reading. Looking back over the past three months it has been intriguing to see the topics and issues that tumble around in my head. Some issues seem to be more prominent than others. To be exhaustive in any area i'd have to write a book or devote an entire blog to that topic.

People are too complex for a blog to fully show who we are and what we are wrestling with. Like all relationships, it takes times and contact to get a feel for what a person is about. If i ever do another blog i'll call it pieces of my mind or something like that.

i'm fighting a cold so i'll end here and get some sleep. (yawn)

  • In the Celtic tradition "Thin Places" are places where the spiritual and the natural world intersect. It is a place where it is possible to touch and be touched by God. "Thin Spaces" are the moments when we experience a deep sense of God’s presence in our everyday world.
