My husband and I are pretty passionate about pointing out the disgusting waste that is within our culture and the church. We have tried to remove all waste from our lives in order to help those in need. If you're interested my husband wrote an essay on this topic. You can find it at http://joel.mawhorter.org/loveyourneighbor.html

That is awesome...and it's got me rethinking what I consider "little" amounts I spend on stuff, that could well make a difference in other lives.

  • In the Celtic tradition "Thin Places" are places where the spiritual and the natural world intersect. It is a place where it is possible to touch and be touched by God. "Thin Spaces" are the moments when we experience a deep sense of God’s presence in our everyday world.
